Terms & Conditions

About these terms

These terms apply to this website and to orders placed with The Authentic Jewels of Marble, Tajganj, Agra. Sending an enquiry or placing an order means you accept them.

Enquiries and quotations

Prices are not published here because they depend on the stone, the dimensions, the finish and the quantity. A quotation is valid for the period stated in it and covers the specification described in it.

Natural stone variation

Every piece is cut from natural stone and finished by hand. Vein, colour and figure vary from block to block, and small differences between two pieces of the same design are a characteristic of the material, not a defect. Photographs on this website show real pieces; yours will share the design, not the exact pattern.

Custom orders

Custom work begins once the specification, price and timeline are confirmed by you. Changes after work has begun may affect price and delivery date, and may not be possible depending on the stage reached.

Payment

Payment terms, including any advance payable before work begins, are stated in your quotation and confirmed before production starts.

Lead times

Timelines are honest estimates based on the piece and the workshop's schedule. Where a delay occurs we tell you as soon as we know, not at the deadline.

Packing, delivery and risk

Pieces are individually cushioned and crated where size or weight requires it. Shipping method, cost and timelines are confirmed per order. Please inspect your consignment on arrival and tell us immediately, with photographs, if there is transit damage.

Cancellation and returns

Ready pieces may be cancelled before dispatch. Custom and made-to-order pieces cannot be cancelled once making has begun. If a piece arrives damaged or does not match the agreed specification, contact us at once and we will put it right.

Care and liability

Marble is a natural stone: it can chip or break if dropped or struck, and it etches under acids such as wine, citrus and some cleaners. Our responsibility is limited to the piece supplied and its agreed specification.

Intellectual property

Content, photographs and designs on this website belong to The Authentic Jewels of Marble and may not be reproduced without permission. Designs you supply for custom work remain yours.
